Whilst photorealism was still crucial for this project, more importantly these visualisations needed to convey an atmosphere and tell a story.  As these image were to be used in large format promotional material for an extravagant housing estate in China, the tone and composition of these images needed to convey this grandiose atmosphere in order to appeal to the particular target market. A challenge that came with this project was rendering the image so that it could be printed at a very large format whilst retaining a high level of resolution (approx. 15000px at 300dpi).
